I'm honestly pondering making a new dA account to start fresh. It's kinda nice looking back at my old journals and all, but man was I ignorant as a fresh adult and hell, I used to be a proshipper from 2014, 2015 or so to 2021. I regret being in that community and because I was in it for so long, I saw some shit to say the least. (hell, one of my friends/ex-rp partners and some acquaintances from the furry fandom were cub porn supporters and I don't support that kind of shit) If I do make a new account for my new art, I'd like to keep this account up for archival purposes. In a way, y'all would be seeing me grow from an immature fuckhead that was confused by the concept of neopronouns and alternate genders to who I am now. I grew up a conservative Christian via family and Christian school, slowly unlearned the shit I was taught, learned to set boundaries regarding online interactions and what art I'm willing to make and support, started questioning my sexuality (which took FAR too long

This won't be my primary area to post art as I have a Twitter and FurAffinity that I use more often, but I'm just here to tell y'all I'm still alive. Main reason I don't use this site much is the way art is organized on this site is just... not good, especially compared to the past dA layout which allowed for ample organization. You could put fanart in the fanart section, photographs in the photography section, and they all had subcategories... I miss that. FurAffinity finally added a drag and drop feature to their uploading system, so I'm happy about that, the old way was just too cumbersome for me. Did some cleanup work there, might do the same here, I just don't know how to put old art in my sta.sh archive anymore since everything's changed, and I don't want to outright delete any art in case one of them got lost in the process of transferring to my external hard drive. I did make a new account with my irl name, but I hardly do anything with it. I might keep it still for later to use if I ever manage to get into a professional art field of some sort, but it'll have to stay dormant for now. I might even forgo that account in favor of ArtStation, another site I barely use but may in the future. I initially wanted to leave this account for good as there were some bad memories here and Tumblr, but I got sucked in anyway. I'm glad I never deleted this account, but I don't really want my old art to be the first stuff to show up in the related images section in my deviations, but I also want that old art to still be accessible. I'm not quite sure how to go about cleaning up this page anymore besides adding old stuff to the scraps. I'd also like to clean up my journals, but there's just so many. A lot of old journals make me cringe nowadays. So, in short, I'm back!
